Your privacy

Your documents stay on your phone. Full stop.

Most apps ask you to trust them with your data. WhatNext.Pro is built so you don’t have to.

What stays on your phone (and never reaches us)

Every document and photo you add lives encrypted on your device. It is never uploaded, never synced to a cloud, never copied to our servers. We can’t see it, and neither can anyone else.

What does sync — and why

For reminders to fire on time, a small amount of information does reach our server: the reminder dates and labels you set, and your email address (so we can send the backup email). That’s it. No documents. No photos. No passport numbers.

What we can’t recover

Because your vault lives only on your phone, we have no copy of it. If you lose your phone or delete the app, your account and reminder dates come back when you log in — but the vault does not. That’s the trade for real privacy, and it’s why we nudge you to export a backup the first time you add a document.

The short version

Documents: your phone only. Reminder dates + your email: on our server, so the reminders work. Nothing else.
